• The customer retains full ownership of all operational and system data generated through their use of S4i solutions, including data from lighting systems, sensors, devices, and integrated platforms.
• S4i acts as a data processor and facilitator, enabling system functionality, integration, visibility, and performance optimisation.
• S4i does not claim ownership of customer data and only accesses or processes such data as required to deliver services, provide support, or maintain system performance.
• Customers are responsible for ensuring that they have the appropriate rights, permissions, and legal basis to collect and use data within their deployed systems.
Where operational data can be linked to an identifiable individual, it will be handled in accordance with the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs).
S4i will not use customer operational data for unrelated purposes, including marketing or data resale, without explicit consent.
