Mondelez Warehouse

Industrial / Warehouse Lighting Control
Hero background

The Logos Mondelez Warehouse project represents a large-scale warehouse lighting control design and integration architecture developed collaboratively with Modcol and La Luce, with S4i providing system-level expertise across control architecture, integration strategy, and technical support.

While the full live integration was ultimately not completed due to IP network design constraints external to the lighting system, the project remains a strong example of S4i’s role in complex warehouse lighting architecture and future-ready integration planning.

Project Overview

The warehouse lighting solution was designed around a large Casambi wireless deployment, centrally integrated via a single S4i Integration Broker (IB) system and architected to interface with a Philips Dynalite backbone.

The system design also incorporated XAPI readiness, enabling future expansion into IoT dashboards, analytics, and broader smart-facility applications.

What Was Designed

Lighting & Network Architecture

• 800 customised Casambi-enabled highbay luminaires

• 8 independent Casambi mesh networks

• Centralised integration through one S4i IB system

• Planned integration pathway to Dynalite for local switching and scheduling

• XAPI-ready architecture for future IoT and dashboard connectivity

Roles & Responsibilities

• Lighting supply: La Luce

• Commissioning: Modcol

• Network design: La Luce, with technical assistance from S4i

• Integration architecture: S4i

S4i Scope of Works

• System design and control strategy

• Software and hardware architecture definition

• Integration planning between Casambi and Dynalite

• Technical advisory and ongoing project support

• Future-proofing through API-ready design

Although the live integration phase was not executed due to external IP network constraints, the control architecture and system design were completed to support rapid deployment once network conditions allow.

Key Takeaways

• Demonstrates scalable Casambi deployment at industrial scale

• Highlights the importance of early-stage IP network alignment on smart lighting projects

• Showcases S4i’s ability to design protocol-agnostic, future-ready control architectures

• XAPI-ready design enables future IoT dashboards, analytics, and smart warehouse features

This project reinforces S4i’s role beyond hardware supply — as a system architect and integration specialist capable of designing complex, multi-network warehouse lighting solutions that align with enterprise control systems and future smart-infrastructure goals.

Even where deployment challenges arise outside the lighting scope, the architecture-first approach ensures projects remain viable, scalable, and ready for activation when conditions are right.
